WE ARE BACK AND BETTER THAN EVER! That is right folks, football season is officially over and I am officially heartbroken. So, what’s the one thing that can heal a broken heart (other than bing drinking.)…

SOME GOD DAMN FIRE MUSIC THAT IS WHAT. THIS SEASONS LINE UP OF SONGS IS GOING TO BE BIGGER AND BETTER THAN EVER. WE HAVE MORE SUBMISSIONS, MORE PEOPLE, AND MORE FIRE. ENOUGH SMALL TALK LETS GET TO THE MUSIC:

Andy:

High Hopes by Panic! At The Disco / Shallow by Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga

Am I possibly having CFB withdraws with High Hopes? Yes. Is this song a slapper? Yes. I also threw in the greatest song from 2018 from one of the greatest movies (Don’t @ Me) where we get to hear Rocket Racoon and Meat Dress sing together.

Patty:

Younger Years by The Milk Carton Kids / Come Along by Cosmo  Sheldrake

Patrick can sometimes resemble the old man of our group, and while Cody Parkey may have taken 13 years off of his life, this music counter acted that. Come Along is way to catchy that I want to learn the words asap and Milk Carton Kids are pretty Dope.

Harrison:

Should’ve Been A Cowboy by Toby Keith / Runnin Down A Dream by  Tom Petty

THE NEW(ish) GUY FROM LEFT FIELD WITH SLAPPERS. Tom Petty can never go wrong no matter what and Toby Keith is an absolute magician on the mic.

Chad:

Young Drunk by The Smith Street Band / Gone, Gone, Gone by Colin  Ferrell

Ironic that Chad has young drunk on here seeing that he is about 32 years old (I did the math don’t question it) but the Colin Ferrell song caught me by surprise and I dig it.

Clemson Carl:

Mo Dabo by Clemson Carl (1 lyric by yours truly) / Tiger Land Delight by Clemson Carl

I don’t even have words just enojy:

Liam:

Brand New Key by Melanie / No Hook by OJ Da Juiceman

New Co-Bossman of SU is playing the peoples pleaser and gives us a little of everything and I don’t hate it. 2 songs I have never heard before but I came out surprised about them.

Editors Note: Melanie was a god damn icon, how have you not heard that song?

Sam:

Sold by John Michael Montgomery / 1901 by Phoenix

A litte bit of country and a litte bit of Alt music. What else can you expect from a Suicidal FSU Fan amirite (Thx for Jimbo).

Mike:

Bout to by Calen Raps / Helen Keller by Arizona Zervas

Not gonna lie, I thought Bout To was going to be weak. Boy oh boy was I wrong it SLAPS. And Hellen Keller sounds like a song that belongs in Madden so it is also just as much of a slapper.

Jackson:

Let It Be by The Beatles / Old Blue Chair by Kenny Chesney

Jackson has the two songs that I’d imagine Bill Snyder has for a Pre-Game pump-up. I also believe that he only chose the Beatles because we had a heated argument the other day about if the Beatles were good or not (Spoiler: They are not).

Jacob:

Georgia Fire by The Vegabonds

Jacob can not listen and only sent in one song but oh well. A song about Georgia from a Miss State that’s some BDE.

Johnny:

Space Oddity by David Bowie / Maggie May by Rod Stewart

Johnny throwing it back a little bit and I do not mind what so ever. Both legends and never forget “GROUND CONTROL TO MAJA TOM.”

Billy:

I Wanna Prove To You by The Lemon Twigs / Bonjou by Nas

Another strong showing by one of the newer guys. Liam was a huge fan of the Lemon pick while Nas is a strong but dominate selection.

Brett:

Africa by Toto / Stacy’s Mom by Fountains of Wayne

Africa has easily been the most selected song for Friday Fire and Stacy’s Mom is the Middle School Banger of America (behind 1985).
