We just can’t seem to find a winning week. With that being said, I am never betting on Duke again. I should have figured that those jerks would have been just bad enough to win but not cover the spread. If they weren’t going to cover, they might as well have lost because outside of that campus, they don’t have a lot of fans in the country. They continue to be the team that no one likes, and the gamblers are sick of losing money because they suck. Moving onto this week, though, here are some of our locks for this Saturday.
Austin Brown
Gonzaga -22 vs. Santa Clara: The Zags have been murdering the spread this season (16-4-1). They pounded Santa Clara by 31 on the road a few weeks ago, and I have no reason to think the result will be any closer this time around.
Valpo -4 @ Green Bay: Valpo is 12-8 ATS this season. They have a vastly superior team to Green Bay, and they are currently riding an 8 game win streak.
Louisville -14.5 @ Boston College: Louisville is arguably the best defensive team in the country. They have won their past two games by a combined 80 points, and both of those games were against teams better than BC.
Texas +7 @ TCU: Texas has been right there in almost every game they’ve played in the Big 12. Texas is coming off a big win over Texas Tech. I think this one will come down to the wire, so give me the Horns and the points.
Kentucky +2 @ Florida: Kentucky getting points against anyone in the SEC is too good to pass up.

Maryland +2.5 vs. Purdue: Why will no one give this Maryland team the respect they deserve? The Terrapins have two losses all season and Melo Trimble has inserted his name into the Big Ten POY race. Show these boys the respect they deserve and win some money today.
Kansas -10.5 vs. Iowa State: Allen Fieldhouse might be the best home court/floor/field advantage in all of sports. The problem with this Cyclone team is that they tend to shoot themselves in the foot a lot this season. I like this line.
UCONN +12.5 @ Cincinnati: The Bearcats are on a nice win streak, and I think it will continue today. But they will not cover this one. March is right around the corner and the Huskies are about to make their run they make every year at this time. Never bet against UCONN this close to March.
Illinois State +10.5 @ Wichita State: The Shockers are having a down year, which should have been predicted due to the loss of their 27th year senior, Ron Baker. Illinois State has a lot to play for in this game for the Missouri Valley race. Not only do I think Redbirds will get this, they might win the whole game.
Illinois +2 vs. Minnesota: The Gophers travel to a good home court today in Illinois, and that is not what they needed. Minnesota is on a tough losing streak and I think it continues today. Illinois is trying to make a bid for the NCAA Tournament, so they can not have losses like these. Don’t let me down Illinois.
