There’s a first time for everything. American International College clinched their first Atlantic Hockey championship with a 4-1 victory over Sacred Heart.

The Atlantic Tournament is still looming. There’s no reason to think that the conference champs aren’t the favorite heading into the postseason. This is AIC’s best team ever and they can’t be feeling satisfied just yet. Just to reiterate, they’ve gotta win the Atlantic’s conference tournament to reach the NCAA tournament for the first time in program history.

For now, we’re just gonna enjoy this one. It’s been a helluva season and this is going to be remembered for a very long time. Congratulations to American International!
