Yearly Record: 10-14-1
Lock Of The Week: Baylor -2 vs Oklahoma State
Baylor is 3-1 against the spread this season, with margins ranging from large odds to tight spreads. They’ve also played better competition than Oklahoma State this year by playing BYU and Iowa State while the Cowboys’ toughest opponent has been Central Michigan. Oklahoma State has covered every game this year, but they haven’t been the underdog up until this point. Baylor is better prepped and has faced tougher challenges thus far than Oklahoma State. LOCK IT IN, BAYLOR -2.
Kentucky +7 vs Ole Miss
I won’t lie, I am growing more concerned seeing that a lot of gamblers are throwing money down on Kentucky +7. That either means it’s a sure thing or we’re all fools. I have a lot of faith in Will Levis making BBN proud and having a true breakout game. While both teams are undefeated, neither has a huge win under their belt thus far, so it’s tough to gauge that aspect. Sometimes you make a pick off what your gut tells you, and my gut told me to bet Kentucky +7.
Washington State -4 vs California
I watched Cal play against Notre Dame this season and wasn’t blown away by them, even though they kept the game relatively close. To pile onto that, Washington State looks really sound this season. They’ve also covered the spread the past three weeks in a row and just played Oregon really tough. I’m riding with Wazzou this week -4 against Cal.
UCF -3 vs SMU
A little mid-week action. Seeing this game get pushed really peaked my interest, and I think UCF will be coming out and playing for the state of Florida on Wednesday. For those that are battling the hurricane, the Knights are here. And for bettors across America, UCF is here to assure that they’ll be covering the three-point spread.
Texas A&M +4 vs Mississippi State
The past two weeks, Texas A&M has covered against good teams in Arkansas and Miami. For Mississippi State, they’re 0-2 the past two weeks against the spread. Seeing the Aggies as the underdogs is a bit shocking seeing that they’ve beaten two Top 25 teams and Mississippi State hasn’t even played a ranked squad. I love everything about this bet.
