Baseball Factory’s All-Star Classic Showcased Some Of The Brightest Young Talent In Baseball

The All-Star Classic hosted by Baseball Factory is a showcase game that featured 40 of the top high school players in baseball. Both the National team and American team featured great hitters and pitchers that are hoping to one day complete their dreams of going pro.

This game featured powerhouse starting pitching from both teams. The American team pitcher Chase Petty and National team pitcher Christian Little were dominant in their respected outings. Petty looked really sharp as if it wasn’t the time for other young athletes to get looked at. He would’ve kept pitching exceptionally well as one of the comparisons he’s gotten early on is Walker Buehler. Buehler, as many Dodgers fans know, has molded into the Dodgers number one starter and is pitching in big games for the Dodgers.

Jordan Lawlar

Both starters showed their stuff early, but the bats came out for the National team in the later innings. Third Basemen Jordan Lawlar led it off for the National team with an RBI triple, showing easy power to right-center field. During the broadcast of the game, Lawlar was praised for his leadership. He was even compare to “Derek Jeter” in terms of his skills and leadership ability. That kind of leadership could impact any team both at both the college and professional level.

Kahlil Watson

A player that stood out from the American team was second basemen Kahlil Watson. Watson showed off his speed early when he turned a shallow hit into a double. This eventually led to him scoring on a sacrifice. His speed and contact could be a useful combination that teams would love to use. If he further develops his contact, watch out.

Alex Ulloa

Another standout player who came from the National team was second basemen Alex Ulloa. Ulloa made his mark with a two run triple late in the game. That was when the offense really came out for the National team as Ulloa had the chance for three at-bats during the eighth inning. In his third at-bat, Ulloa hit an RBI double that helped the National team run away with the game.

All of these athletes are respected throughout the organizations they represent and deserve recognition for their continuous efforts of chasing their dreams. This showcase game had everything in terms of what colleges and pro teams are looking at such as top tier pitching and hitting that could impact any team they get a chance on.
