The tweets keep coming just as the chaos and insanity does. This college football season rocks, much like every other college football season. Going into Championship Week, a lot is still pretty murky. Will Bama get in with a loss and no championship? Will Wisconsin get left out? Will Butch Jones ever get a job again? I’m not going to answer any of those questions, but unwind with some tweets.

The U takes a fat L

The U sustained a pretty bad loss at the hands of Pitt last week. Yeah, like Pittsburgh. Definitely not great. Definitely bumps them out of the Playoff picture. Unless they beat Clemson in the ACC Championship game. Clemson is really good, though. The turnover chain might be getting hung up. Permanently? Only time will tell.

Shouts out Clemson Carl for this gem.

Nice

This happened and it was one of those moments I wish I had rewind on my TV so I could have gotten the picture. But instead, Barstool, the king of doing such a thing, was successful in doing so. I’m happy either way because this is just fantastic. And it ended in a touchdown. USF lost, but did they really?

The Coaching Carousel begins

If you missed it because you live under a rock under the ground under a mountain, the college football coaching carousel is in full swing. Literally everything is out of fucking control. The really wild thing is that we expected it for a long time, but still this stuff is blowing our socks off.

As good as the story would have been, it did not happen at halftime. Instead, it sort of, kinda, maybe happened after the game. But Riley said no one alerted him directly, so he still showed up at work. But still, he’s definitely, totally out. No more Mr. Nice Guy in Nebraska.

There’s no way around calling this a shitshow. Schiano was in at Tennessee, then protested, then out. His history is maybe, possibly bad, but there is really no proof and now his name has been dragged through the mud and also the Tennessee job is fairly undesirable. And by fairly, I mean extremely. It’s really bad down there. Lane is the only solution.
