Things don’t always flow in our favor. A Notre Dame buzzer-beater victory over the Tar Heels devastated yesterday’s parlay. But it really hit the fan when Xavier and St. John’s decided to play H-O-R-S-E to end the first half. A near eighty-point showing doomed the under from the beginning.

However, let’s not dwell on the failures and look at the successes: Kansas and Iowa State crushed the o140.5 with over six minutes remaining. Bucknell handled Holy Cross, covering -6 with ease. And in our NHL action, the Golden Knights did not disappoint against the Capitals, bringing home a 3-2 victory.

Jumping back into the action tonight, it’s all college ball and no parlays. Go ahead, bet against us on February 18th.

#10 Kentucky @ LSU (-2.5)

Recent memory hasn’t been kind to LSU. Although Will Wade’s crew is 1-3 in their last four games, all three losses occurred on the road. LSU defends Pete Maravich Assembly Center very well, owning a 13-1 record on their home court this season. The success of the Tigers relies on their ability to grab boards and defend the arc, things they’ve had trouble with on the road over the past two weeks. Look for things to change tides in Louisiana.

#5 Dayton (-3.5) @ VCU

The Rams are no pushover, but the Flyers are legit. Obi Tobbin might be the best player in all of college basketball right now, and while tonight is the perfect opportunity for a trap game, expect Dayton to soar to another decisive victory on the road in the A10.

#1 Baylor @ Oklahoma – u135

Scott Drew’s defense is no joke and Lon Kruger’s offense is inconsistent at best. And while Baylor hasn’t lost since November 8th, they also haven’t hit the eighty-point mark in a game since December 30th in Waco against Jackson State. In Oklahoma, against a Sooners team coming off a drubbing in Lawrence last Saturday, this shouldn’t sniff the 135 total.
