Dayton saved our asses and covered -3.5 against VCU last night with the help of some clutch last-second free throws. Baylor and Oklahoma followed through nicely and didn’t sniff the 135 total with a final score, 65-54. The Bears haven’t touched eighty points this calendar year. Their defense is responsible for their #1 ranking.
LSU disappointed against Kentucky, ruining our bid for a perfect day. When the Tigers can’t hit their shots and can’t rebound on either side of the court, the outcome becomes apparent early on. Kentucky did everything wrong in the first half and still led at the break.

Kansas State @ Texas Tech (-11.5)
Last year’s runner-up is confusing a lot of bettors this season. A drop off expected, nobody anticipated Chris Beard’s crew dropping one at Oklahoma State last Saturday. Meanwhile, Kansas State can’t buy a win on the road and remains winless this month. The Red Raiders have something to prove after the dud against the Cowboys. Look for Tech to make an example out of the Wildcats and handle business soundly.
#13 Auburn (-4.0) @ Georgia
Auburn is 22-3, 9-3 in the SEC and 4-3 on the road. Dropping their last contest to Missouri on Saturday stunned Bruce Pearl’s squad. It’s impossible to imagine another broken performance. Tom Crean hasn’t hit stride with the Bulldogs this season, sporting just a 2-10 record in the conference this far. Home or away, Auburn is a much better team than Georgia and tonight should back that up.
Michigan @ Rutgers (-3.0)
Rutgers took care of business when the Illini visited Piscataway last weekend, albeit without their star guard Ayo Dosunmu. The Scarlet Knights are no joke, but can’t stay ranked with a tough B1G schedule throwing haymakers every week. Meanwhile, Juwan Howard’s crew is unimpressive, maybe beginning to return to somewhat of their preseason expectations. Rutgers builds on Saturday’s win and settles all family business with the Wolverines in the house tonight.
