Welcome back to edition number two of Delphi Bracketology.  Another week of college basketball has come and gone, only this week conference tournaments have gotten underway with 12 automatic bids clinched so far.  Here is the list of teams that are automatically being sent into the NCAA tournament: Gonzaga (WCC), South Dakota State (Summit), Chattanooga (Southern), Austin Peay (OVC), Fairleigh Dickinson (Northeast), Northern Iowa (MVC), Iona (MAAC), Yale (Ivy), Green Bay (Horizon), UNC Wilmington (Colonial), UNC Asheville (Big South), and Florida Gulf Coast (Atlantic Sun).  This is one of the most exciting weeks of basketball.  Some teams are playing for seeding purposes, but for others much more is at stake.  If you are on the bubble you can help yourself by winning, but you can also severely hurt yourself by losing early within your tournament.

Here we will take a look at our bracket and see where teams stand.  The overall number one seed stays the same as Kansas retains that position, while the remaining top seeds belong to Villanova, Oklahoma, and Virginia.  We believe that these teams are set in stone unless Virginia, Villanova, and Oklahoma lose early in their respective conference tournaments.  Kansas is so far ahead of the rest that they could possibly lose early and still receive the overall number one seed.

As for our two seeds, we have Michigan State, North Carolina, Xavier, and Oregon. Michigan State has been one of the hottest teams in the nation since gaining Denzel Valentine back from his knee injury.  If any of the one seeds should falter, Michigan State may be in line to move up to the top line.

Three seeds are as follows: in no particular order we have Miami (Fl), Indiana, Utah, and West Virginia. With Miami (Fl) losing at Virginia Tech, we dropped them down from a one seed to a two seed.  As far as conference tournaments go, Indiana and Utah can possibly ascend to a two seed if they win their respective conference tournaments.  The two teams are playing well at the right time.
