As we approach the final stretch of the College Football season, I’m gonna shake up the Preview format a little bit. So let’s go face first into this transition.
Games of the Week:
#11 Oklahoma State at #22 West Virginia:
After squeaking by a bad Texas team, Oklahoma State looks to tighten the ship before their matchup versus Oklahoma. West Virginia, at home? Forget about it. They thrive in Morgantown. Grier gets lucky again Saturday as the Mountaineers beat the Cowboys.
#4 TCU at #25 Iowa State:
Look, you can debate this game but for the Horned Frogs, this will be a game they’ll be lucky to get out of Aimes with a win. Iowa State is currently on a three game win streak after losing (humiliatingly) to Texas. It seems that they have really figured out their game plan and look to continue their dominance. I think the win streak continues and the legend of the Cyclones grows to monumental levels.
#2 Penn State at #6 Ohio State:
This game has to be the biggest game so far this College Football season. Not only is Penn State coming off of drubbing Michigan, they then have to play Ohio State in Columbus. Lets keep it simple, if Ohio State loses, they are for sure out of the Playoff. If Penn State losses, they fall to #4 in the playoff, and Ohio State probably goes on to win the B1G.
Best Storyline:
For me this week is all about JT Barrett. In our StudentU chat, there have been MANY discussions on whether or not JT is a good quarterback. And what better time to show out then prime time against the second-best team in the country? This will be one of the most important games JT will have played in in his career, so why not prove everyone wrong?
