It is Feast Week, and outside of Champ week and the first weekend of March Madness it is possibly the best week of the season. Week 3 of Coach Dan’s Top 25 sees a lot of movement after some big wins (or big losses) by those currently shifting in and out of the Top 25.
Top 25:
- Gonzaga (4-0)
- Purdue (5-0)
- UCLA (4-0)
- Kansas (3-0)
- Duke (5-0)
- Baylor (4-0)
- Arkansas (3-0)
- Alabama (4-0)
- Memphis (4-0)
- Villanova (3-2)
- Texas (3-1)
- Illinois (2-1)
- Kentucky (3-1)
- Houston (3-0)
- St. Bonaventure (5-0)
- Indiana (4-0)
- UCONN (4-0)
- Miss. St. (4-0)
- Auburn (3-0)
- Arizona (5-0)
- Michigan (3-2)
- Florida (3-0)
- BYU (4-0)
- Seton Hall (3-0)
- Xavier (4-0)
It was a rough week for the Big Ten for those not named Purdue. It was an especially tough week for Michigan. After going into the week number 6 in last week’s Top 25, getting ran out of the gym by Arizona really hurt their rankings. We also saw Ohio State drop out of the rankings entirely after a close loss to Xavier in the Cintas Center.
We also have some new additions to this weeks rankings. Adding Arizona, Florida, BYU, Seton Hall, and Xavier to my Top 25. After some really big wins by these 5 teams, I would expect these teams to have a lot of momentum carry onwards early on in this season.
As we enter one of the best times of the year for College Hoops, let’s remember to give thanks to those we are thankful for in our lives! Happy Feast Week, enjoy your breaks with family and friends!
