Eastern Illinois @ Belmont (-14) 8:00 pm EST

Should be a big cover for the Belmont Bruins at home tonight.  Eastern Illinois has struggled to put points on the board all year, only averaging 66.7 PPG, while Belmont is clipping along at 76.1 per game.  Vegas has not quite figured out what to do with the Bruins, as they are 14-5 against the spread this year. On the flip side, Eastern Illinois is a dismal 5-12 ATS this year.  I like Belmont big at home tonight.

Penn State @ Ohio State (-9) 8:00 pm EST

This line is interesting to me because it seems low.  Ohio State is currently on an eight-game winning streak, while the Nittany Lions are on a two-game slide.  On paper, these teams are very similar, with both averaging around 77 points a game and allowing close to 66 points a contest.  Home court, along with Keita Bates-Diop’s ability to score, is what makes me think Ohio State will cover tonight at home.

Ohio State 76, Penn State 65.

Siena @ Monmouth (-9) 7:00 pm EST

People overlook the smaller conference games because they’re not comfortable putting money on a team they know nothing about.  Both of these teams are struggling this year (Siena is 6-15 and Monmouth is 5-13), but there is money to be made on this match-up.  There is not a nine-point difference between these squads.  Siena did lose their top scorer Nico Clareth to transfer, but freshmen Roman Penn and Prince Oduro have picked up the slack in his absence.  I see an upset happening tonight for the Saints as they go to Monmouth and pick up a win.
