College Football Week 9 Gambling Picks

Yearly Record: 22-21-2

Lock Of The Week: Wake Forest -3.5 at Louisville

Right here is what we call a “fishy line.” Wake Forest is a top ten team in the nation while Louisville is 4-3. The line is not as large as it should be, but I don’t care. The Demon Deacons behind Sam Hartman will beat the Cardinals and cover this close line. What does give me confidence though is that Wake Forest is 6-1 against the spread, and the only time they didn’t cover was a massive, 17.5-point line against Liberty. When Louisville was +3 against FSU a few weeks prior, they did not cover. The Gambling Gods are telling me to take Wake and LOCK IT IN.

UConn +8 vs Boston College

I’ve bet UConn in their past two games…and they’ve covered in both games. The Huskies may be 3-5, but they are 6-2 in covering this season and 4-0 their past four games. Boston College, on the other hand, is 1-6 against the spread and 2-5 on the season. Let’s also take into consideration that it’s a home game for UConn and the Rent will be rocking. Jim Mora has started to turn UConn around while Boston College has noticeably regressed in the worst way possible. Roll Huskies and hammer them +8.

Arkansas -3.5 at Auburn

While Arkansas has gone from one of the SEC’s best to a middle of the pack team, they’re still one of my favorite teams to watch (and I despise Auburn). While both teams this season haven’t been great against the spread, I am taking the KJ Jefferson effect into consideration. He lights up defenses through the air and on the ground. I think we see a top-tier performance this weekend from him that not only wins the Razorbacks the contest, but has them covering.

TCU -7.5 at West Virginia

IT’S MAX DUGGAN SZN. While TCU doesn’t have the help of Hypnotoad on the road, they’re super hot. Duggan has been playing clean football, only throwing one pick and torching Big 12 defenses. TCU is 5-1-1 against the spread this year, and the Mountaineers recently lost a +7.5 point spread game against Texas and a +5 spread against Texas Tech. These touchdown spread games don’t work in the favor of West Virginia. I have an ungodly amount of faith in TCU this season. Some would say I’m chugging the purple Kool-Aid, but that doesn’t matter this Saturday. The Red Rocket reincarnated will do me right and cover this 7.5-point spread.

New Mexico State -2 at UMass

THIS IS THE TOILET BOWL FOLKS. We have two of college football’s worst teams squaring off with one another, and I’m all for it. Maybe I’m too high on New Mexico State going into this game, but I know how bad UMass has been this season and the past few years that I have absolutely no faith putting a dime on them. My gut is just telling me that it’s time to bet the Aggies in the Toilet Bowl.
