Collin Sexton was originally suspended for being part of the original FBI investigation and was ineligible for the first game of the season, but played in every game after. This past weekend another report was brought out that said ASM sports paid Sexton an unspecified amount of money, knowing this and that he was already investigated how is he allowed to play? Sexton is by far the best player on the Alabama Crimson Tide and without him there is now way they can make the tourney as they are a bubble team already. If the NCAA is really hell bent on making sure college players don’t get paid they can’t let these players play, while I feel players should get compensation for colleges using their likeness to sell tickets and merchandise, it is not allowed and players should not be able to get paid by agents as they are amateurs not pros. So in my opinion the players who are active and took money from these agents should be ruled ineligible, also the tournament this year with all the players gone would be one of the most competitive in recent history and might gives us our first ever double digit seed to win the whole thing.
Should Collin Sexton be allowed to play?
