Move over Neil Armstrong, there’s a new man on the moon. David Scott Portnoy and the rest of the pirate ship at Barstool Sports are taking over the Arizona Bowl New Years Eve 2021. With exclusive live broadcast rights to control bowl coverage, formerly owned by CBS, Barstool Sports is firmly planting their flag in Tucson, Arizona December 31.
What can we expect? Lord knows, but I can assure you that the boys in Boston will not disappoint. Will Big Cat and PFT be our broadcast analysts? Possibly. Will Glenny sell a line of Beachball themed bowl gear? He probably should. Will Rico Bosco and Marty Mush give us live odds and picks on the game? I sure hope so.
All I know is we can be in for quite a treat and this could possibly be just the beginning trip “To the Moon” for America’s most loved and hated sports brand. The big question is: “Will you tune in to find out?” I know I will. Put on your jetpack, it’s to the Moon we go!
