It’s the end of the work week once again and it means 2 things:
1. The weekend is finally here
2. FRIDAY FIRE
Personally, I’m excited for both, but mother nature has decided to be a little bit of a party pooper on this Friday by giving us a little bit of a weather pimp slap:
So, we aren’t gonna let a little wind, rain, and cold stop us from having a Darty and making this weekend a great one, so jump into this week quicker than Jim McElwain jumps onto sharks naked:
Brandon:
Beautiful Bliss by Wale, Melanie Fiona and J. Cole / My Last by Big Sean and Chris Brown
Boss man coming in strong with some jams. Majority of our site is Anti-J. Cole, that being said he does go HAM on this track. And you can never go wrong with Big Sean.
Frank:
When We Were Young by Lost Kings and Norma Jean Martine / R.I.P by Playboi Carti
Frank “The Walking Sorority Girl Playlist” Fanelli bringing some summer jams. The first song is and I quote “super summer vibey” and a lil Playboi Carti for his second choice, he’s prepared for #DartySZN
Dan:
Maintain by Belly / CLOSE by Rae Sremmurd
Darty Dan… with the Darty Choices. Do I need to say anything else?
Johnny:
She Don’t Use Jelly by The Flaming Lips / The Hand That Feeds by Nine Inch Nails / Gone by Paris and Trippe Redd
Johnny is a modern-day Spotify Mozart, and he has given use his own 3 song sympathy. 3 separate genres that some how back to back to back feel right.
Sam:
Better Now by Post Malone / Amarillo Sky by Jason Aldean
Posty and Jason Aldean are a better tag team than the Hardy Boyz in WWE. Posty has that country vibe while Jason Aldean is a good ole’ country boy.
Andy:
I. The Worse Guys by Childish Gambino and Chance The Rapper / Show Me Love by Hundred Waters, Skrillex and Chance The Rapper / This Is America by Childish Gambino
Can you sense a theme here? Both Chance and Gambino are great, but combine them for the first song with a beautiful guitar solo, give chance a Reggae vibe on the second song, and Gambino going off on the third song, this is a solid 3 piece.
Patty:
I’m A Jayhawk by University of Kansas / May I Have This Dance Remix by Francis and The Lights and Chance The Rapper / Lost In The World by Kanye West and Bon Iver
Patrick Norton coming in with a “Bop” and a very very good Chance song. Also, with a very underrated Kanye song from MBDTF. He says people don’t like his music so folks prove him wrong.
Chase:
Gotdamn by G-Eazy
Chase peeking out of the shadows to bring us a Cocaine Cowboy uh I mean G-Eazy song that he says “Blowing up my car speakers lately”. Solid song from Gerald.
