Michigan (+9.5) against Penn State

There are way too many people doubting Jim Harbaugh this season, and that is exactly why he’s about to shove all of that criticism in our faces and take down the No. 2 Nittany Lions. Michigan is also 10-3 on straight up in their last three road games and holds a 12-4 record in their last 16 games against Penn State.

Louisville (+7) against FSU

I know that Louisville is coming off of two straight losses, but spotting Lamar Jackson 7 points always going to spark my attention. Jackson has been put into a position where he absolutely has to show up. Even if he has given up on Louisville’s season, Lamar Jackson will be looking to throw out some video game numbers to aid his NFL draft stock. With a 4-3 record, Florida State is potentially the last marquee program that Lamar will have to face as a Louisville player. Also, as far as FSU goes, I get that all of their losses have come from nationally ranked teams, but they are still yet to beat any relevant teams. With all eyes on Lamar, expect Louisville to give the Seminoles a run for their money.

USC (+3.5) against Notre Dame

This game is a must win for USC if they want to keep their national championship hopes alive, and I fully expect Sam Darnold and company to show up. The Trojans don’t have the most encouraging ATS record, but keep in mind that this is the first time Vegas has listed them as underdogs all season. USC will certainly be playing with a chip on their shoulder and are a safe bet to cover the 3.5 point spread and a chance have a solid chance to win this one straight up.

OVER OF THE WEEK: Louisville/FSU Over 58.5

A wise man once said that, “life is to short to take the under,” so I alway try to include at least one over in my weekly picks…Also mindlessly rooting for teams to score touchdowns is the best way to go about watching a College Football game.

BETTING AGAINST THE PUBLIC: Tennessee +34.5

So every week I try to bet on a team that everyone and their mother thinks this is going to lose. This isn’t a scientifically proven system, but it damn sure feels good to be right when everyone else is wrong. With that being said, Butch Jones is clearly the laughing stock of the SEC right now, so I have no choice but to ride with the Volunteers this week. I’m not saying they pull off a miracle and upset Alabama (although that would be cool), but a 34 and a half point spread is certainly doable.
