How The Jort Bois of Jacksonville Beach Took Over The Jaguars Party Scene - They Plan To Booze Til' They Lose

So you’re probably wondering just who the hell are “The Jort Bois”? I’m here to tell you if you’re in the Jax Beach area of “Duuuuval” aka Jacksonville, Florida and are looking for a good time you need to know.

The Jort Bois are Jax Beach’s very own, homegrown anomaly. What started as a group of popular local bar bouncers in 2020, these four grew tired of one star yelp reviews and late night bar fights.

They took to Instagram with a name branded after their signature cut-off-jean attire to prove they were more than just that. By listening to their regular customers who always asked “when are you off?” and “when can you drink with us?” they decided to answer the people. By 2021 they were posting every week what night they’d be going out so local followers could join them, and by 2022 different bar managers and owners were taking notice.

Nowadays the former bouncers use their out-of-pocket ideas and wild personalities to bring different events and parties to local bars in town, and if there’s one thing they can guarantee- no party will be the same.

I sat down with the party “Jort Bois” of Jax Beach to ask them all the tea and upcoming news they have in 2024 and beyond.

Don James: Who are the biggest names the Jort Bois have ever met celebrity wise?

Jort Bois: Trevor Lawrence, Donald Trump, Jorge Masvidal, Kane Brown, Theo Von, Dana White, Justin Waller, Ian Smith

Don James: What athletes have you gotten to party with over the years?

Jort Bois: Jorge Masvidal, Mike & Maurkice Pouncey, Ramon Tavares, Major Wright, Joe Haden, Carlos Dunlap, Colby Covington, and several Jaguars players!

Don James: What’s your favorite part of being local celebrities around Jax Beach?

Jort Bois: I wouldn’t call us celebrities, but being able to bring the community together and see people happy to be in this city always makes the stress worth it. We know Jax Beach has a lot to offer and we just want it to be on the map one day.

Don James: I have dubbed you the Nelk Boys of Jacksonville but tell us the actual relationship you actually share with the Happy Dad founders?

Jort Bois: Collin actually works for their seltzer team, we all worked security for them in the past and that’s what led to Collin’s day-to-day job.

Don James: What’s the wildest party story you’ve ever been apart of ?

Jort Bois: Probably our second party, we rented out a local hotel and over a thousand people showed up. We had bands, DJ’s, a mechanical bull!

Don James: Who’s the most famous contact in your phone ?

Jort Bois: Hahaha, I dont know if I want to risk getting my phone stolen but given our connections to UFC and Happy Dad, Collins got some high profiles in there.

Don James: If you could party with three people dead or alive who would they be and why?

Jort Bois: Jesus Christ. The man turned water into wine , Johnny Manziel, he lives by the motto “win or lose we booze” and Chris Farley, the former fat guy in a little coat could’ve out Jort-Boi’d all of us.

Don James: What are your expectations of the jaguars for 2024?

Jort Bois: Please see Johnny Manziel quote above hahaha. In all seriousness, the Jags had a great draft and off season but the south is a tough division. We see a low floor and a high ceiling for them.

Don James: Favorite part about living in Jax beach ?

Jort Bois: Definitely the residents. When one parties we all party, when someone needs help everyone’s there to support. Everyone in this town is so welcoming and ready to make you a part of the family.

Don James: Favorite things about the Jacksonville jaguars passionate fan base?

Jort Bois: You can’t mess with these fans’ loyalty. From 1-15 seasons to division champs these fans show out to every home game and they’re dressed to-the-nines at every bar for the away games. Any fan could apply for the Jaxon DeVille mascot spot and they’d qualify.
