In probably the best buzzer-beater I’ve seen all year, the Stanford Cardinals just pulled off a late-night victory in a thriller over the USC Trojans. After Jordan McLaughlin of USC hit what should have likely been the game-winning layup with 1.7 ticks left, Stanford got the quick inbound pass up to Daejon Davis, who absolutley nailed it from long-range, making it look easy. See it for yourself:

The home under dog strikes again as USC was a five point favorite coming into the game. USC continues their disappointing season by falling to 11-6 in a season where there fans thought they might be final four contenders. Stanford improves to 8-8 on the year and picks up their second conference win. Stanford is not expected to be a tournament team, but USC will have to pick things up in order to even be in the dance, much less compete for a final four.
