In this episode, we interview Aveon Smith, the talented quarterback for the Miami of Ohio Redhawks. Aveon stepped up when Brett Gabbert was injured and led the team to a historic win against Northwestern, becoming one of only two quarterbacks in school history to do so against a Power Five team (The other being Ben Roethlisberger). Aveon’s impressive season was marked by 16 total touchdowns and only 5 interceptions, and he played a key role in leading the RedHawks to the Bahamas Bowl by winning 3 of their last 4 games, including a dramatic 14-point comeback against Ball State in the final game of the season. Aveon is a rising star in college football and a player to watch in the coming years.
