Jordan Bohannon Keeps Iowa’s Heart Beating

Bohannon Game Winner vs. Wisconsin

HOLY SANTA CLAUS SHIT, Iowa somehow still has a chance to make the NCAA Tournament after beating Wisconsin on Thursday night. As a die-hard Iowa fan, I could not control my excitement after the Hawkeye’s freshman point guard, Jordan Bohannon, splashed home a three pointer with under ten seconds to go to take the lead.

With this win, Iowa improves to 17-13 and they hold wins over Iowa State, Purdue, Michigan, @Maryland, and @Wisconsin. If the Hawks can beat Penn State on Sunday and win a few games in the Big Ten Tournament, this team could get a bid. Iowa is peaking at the right time, and if someone were to tell me March isn’t the most magical time of the year, I would call them a liar.

Let’s not overlook the HUGE offensive rebound by Cordell Pemsl that set up the game winning shot, or the fact that Nicholas Baer played out of his friken mind tonight. These underclassmen Iowa has are very, very hungry and it will be an exciting end to the year for this squad.

Here is a bonus reaction from fellow Iowan and ESPN Personality, Chris Hassel and his father.

If you don’t love March, you should.
