Luke’s Top 25 Rankings: Week 2

As we go through my first Top 25 rankings, let’s remember a couple things. First, I don’t care what AP has to say. Second, rankings should never come out until after at least one week of play. That’s why I waited. Now, let’s have some fun shall we?

1. Alabama

Still pretty good.

2. Georgia

Big win early to set them up for a one loss playoff berth later.

3. Ohio State

Plenty of weapons. They’ll be fine.

4. Oklahoma

Defense ain’t quite there.

5. UCLA

Fight me. Big two wins to start. Chip Kelly’s visor is back.

6. Cincy

Have to win big every week.

7. Iowa

Impressive win over an overrated Indiana.

8. Texas A&M

Some work to do even with a blowout Week 1.

9. Clemson

Woof. That offense.

10. Iowa State

Always gets off to slow starts. Check back after the Iowa game.

11. Notre Dame

By the skin of their teeth.

12. Texas

Back? Not sure. But a great Week 1 win in a trap game.

13. Penn State

Huge road win, albeit pretty ugly at times. B10 football.

14. Virginia Tech

Can’t tell if they’re good or UNC stinks. Braxton Burmeister is fun to say.

15. USC

Bound to disappoint eventually. Good start.

16. Ole Miss

One of the best offenses in the country.

17. Oregon

Getting ahead of a blowout loss to Ohio State.

18. Coastal Carolina

Weak schedule, good football team.

19. NC State

Just might be the second best team in the ACC this year, if that means anything.

20. Florida

I don’t trust their QB situation quite yet.

21. Liberty

Malik Willis.

22. Auburn

Can’t quit Bo Nix yet.

23. Wisconsin

Still think they’ll be okay.

24. Utah

Loser of this weekend’s game goes.

25. BYU

Go Cougs.
