The Broncos will be traveling to play the Aztecs in Viejas arena for this Mid Major matchup. The Broncos have the better record and best player on the court in Chandler Hutchison, but it is no easier task winning on the road in San Diego. Boise State sits on the bubble of making the NCAA tournament and they are in dire need of quality road win.  The Broncos will have an opportunity to capture a significant win Tuesday night and they should be ready for the challenge.

San Diego St has been in the center of the FBI investigations. SDSU was one of two programs who had to suspend a player that was included in spreadsheet of players who took improper benefits presented by Yahoo sports.  However, after a one game abensence and internal review by SDSU, Malik Pope is back in the lineup against Boise. After watching Michigan ST and Duke perform their own investigation, SDSU figured it can ignore the NCAA too. If Ayton can play for Arizona, why can’t Pope. Also, $1,134 is just chunk of change compared to what other athletes are getting. However, the point is Pope is back and the NCAA still sucks making this Mountain West matchup complete.

SDSU has been on a tear as of late winning their last 4 games by over double digits. SDSU is 13-2 in Viejas arena and they are ready to welcome the conferences best two teams in the arena.

Boise St has already clinched second place in the conference, but they still have a lot to play for. Lunardi puts Boise St squarely on the bubble, and based on the Committee judgment towards mid majors Boise needs to feel like they are on the outside looking in. Boise St is only 6-4 on the road this season and only has two good road wins on their resume. A win at San Diego St would be huge for the Broncos tournament prospects. However winning at San Diego St will not be easy.

Betting Preview:

Both public and sharp money has moved the spread from 3-4 and we are recommending to go against the grain once again. SDSU is 4-0 ATS in their last 4 home games. I expect this to be a close game throughout and can see Boise St pulling out a road victory in this spot.
