Let’s be real, Adam Gase is an odd dude.
Gase is likely coaching for his job this season and the pressure is most certainly on. Jets Reporter Rich Cimini asked a seemingly normal question when the Jets HC was available for media.
For those who don’t want to watch the video, Cimini wondered if there would be any team scrimmages in the upcoming week. Gase responded that there would be a scrimmage but then got a little fiesty: “You want me to lay out everything for you Rich?” “You just show up, we’ll let you know when you get here”.
And for those who thought it all ended there you are dead wrong! There was in fact a scrimmage this morning at training camp. But Cimini was missing one side of the ball out there on the field.
Unfortunately, because there are no preseason games, I am forced to report on the beef between NFL teams and members of the media. Who knows? Maybe this is my new calling as a journalist.
