My favorite wide receiver tandem of all time is BACK. 2013 is my second favorite college football season behind only the fabled 2007 season. There were so many things that made 2013 such a magical year.

The SEC was an absolute gauntlet that year and LSU had a prolific offense led by two of the very best receivers in the nation. OBJ and Jarvis Landry got Zach freaking Mettenberger to the NFL.

The SEC was the headline event of that season. Alabama grinding down every team they faced, except one. Auburn riding the Miracle at Jordan Hare and Kick Bama Kick to the SEC championship. The Todd Gurley Saga and the emergence of Nick Chubb. The fall of Florida. And finally, the two legendary Tiger receivers.

The two combined for over 2,000 yards receiving and caught 18 of Zach Mettenberger’s 22 touchdown passes in 2013. That’s insane production and likely what the LSU offense missed the most after they left.

The Cleveland Browns have brought this dynamic duo back together. The Browns are sick of being the butt-end of scores, bad jokes, memes and takes from the cesspool that is NFL Twitter. They’ve now got one of the youngest, most exciting offenses in the league headlined by two heavyweights at wideout. With Baker Mayfield directing the offense, the sky is the limit on what this unit can be.
