Yesterday, I took a stab at some of the best prop bets for the NFL’s opening night. Here’s how they turned out.
The Winners
Von Miller Over 3.5 Total Tackles +125
Cha-ching, cash it. Von Miller turned heads in his Bills debut by tallying 4 tackles and 2 sacks against his former team. Not only did he put the league on notice, he helped gamblers across America who bet onhim to get over 3.5 tackles. The Rams new offensive line underperformed and Miller exploited them.
Miller was even able to hit the over with an ATROCIOUS haircut. He needs to fire his barber ASAP.
Josh Allen Over 35.5 Rushing Yards -135
Josh Allen was running around assaulting defensive backs last night and it was fun to watch. He hit over 35.5 rushing yards with ease as he carried the rock nine times for 57 yards and a score. Allen only reassured that he’s one of the best rushing quarterbacks after last night and is safe to bet the over on for rushing yards. Cash it.
The Losers
Tyler Higbee Anytime Touchdown +210
While the Bills player props hit, the Rams ones came up short. I honestly can’t even blame Higbee for not scoring because Stafford primarily targeted Kupp and reached pay dirt only once. I still think Higbee is an efficient tight end, but tonight he couldn’t get the job done for me. Bummer.
Matthew Stafford Over 1.5 Passing Touchdowns -165
And now for the man that played the worst. I bet on Stafford tonight and had him starting in one of my fantasy football leagues…so yeah, I’m upset. I was in and out on watching the game and turned on the final drive of the game praying that Stafford would throw a touchdown, but was left thoroughly disappointed. I’m staying far away from betting on Stafford the rest of the season.
