Reviewing the Internet’s Most Popular Handicappers 1/27/18

Napoléon Bonaparte once said something along the lines of,  “If you want a job done right, then do it yourself.” Smart words from a smart man, no doubt about it…But personally I prefer the tagline of the classic 1994 action/thriller, Leon:The Professional; “If you want a job done right, then hire a professional.” Granted… Leon:The Professional isn’t the most intellectually stimulating movie, but it does make a good point. I mean if you need help sorting out some legal trouble, you hire a lawyer. If you find yourself in financial crisis, you consult with your accountant…. And if you are a shitty gambler (like myself), then you tail the picks of a handicapper that actually knows what the hell he’s doing when it comes to Sports Investing (as most cappers like to call it).

With that being said, not everyone who markets themselves as a professional handicapper is worth the time of day. So I figured I’d take a little time to review and breakdown the latest picks from some of the internet’s most popular handicappers….I hope you guys find the information useful in your gambling endeavors.

Stu Feiner (@StuSource)

Stu Feiner is one of the most, if not the most, hyped up capper on the internet these days. I mean back in the 90’s he basically built a handicapping empire by selling his picks through infomercials. In the past two years he has had somewhat of a resurgence of fame thanks to help of collaborations with Barstool Sports. If you aren’t familiar with this legend of the game, the video below should sum him up pretty well.

As ridiculous as this man sounds, he has actually done pretty well for himself. I occasionally catch the feeling that he is just blindly fading the public with his “Best Bets,” but it seems to be working as  Stu-Dog Millionaire is still well above 500% this basketball season with his cards. Below were his picks for 1/27/18…P.S. my man only texts in all caps…

#1 BET IS WARRIORS -10 TO MURDER CELTICS (loss) . I WOULD BET THAT FOR ALL U CAN. BEST BETS FLORIDA STATE -5 (win), DAYTON +2(loss), UCLA -6 (win), SAN DIEGO STATE PK(loss). LIGHT BETS TENNESSEE -2.5(win), GEORGETOWN +12.5 (win). HAWKS +3.5(loss), TIMBERWOLVES -11.5(win) LETS HAVE A GREAT SATURDAY.   -STU

Although he lost his best bet, he still went 5-4 on the day. Also, according to his latest tweet, his, “100K RECORD NOW STANDS AT 14-3-1, and his 50K RECORD STANDS AT 19-10. So as you can see, the old man has still got it.

Blackjack Fletcher of Barstool Sports (@BlackJackFletch)

So Blackjack Fletcher is still somewhat of an enigma. He is most well known for winning the Barstool Intern pick-em contest and has since developed a solid following of degenerate Stoolies (myself included) that tail his every pick. The best way to describe Blackjack is streaky’ honestly, tailing his picks has been an emotional roller coaster. One day he will have you up 500 bucks and the next he will have you considering blocking your bookies number. Below were his picks for 1/27/18

Duke -3.5 (loss)

Oklahoma PK (loss)

Rice +1.5 (win)

Iowa State +2.5 (loss)

UC Riverside/UC Santa Barbara UNDER 139.5 (loss)

UNLV+1 (win)

Not his best night by any means, but trust me, when this man is hot, he is HOT. So be sure to keep an eye on his twitter feed, if you hop on while he is streaking, there is plenty of money to be made.

Dr. Moonlight (@DrMoonPicks)

Dr. Moonlight is personally one of my favorite handicappers on Twitter. He is very transparent about his win and loss record, so you never have to worry about him fudging his numbers like some of the shadier handicappers do. He offers plenty of free picks through his twitter, as well as very reasonable deals on his big money plays. Below were his free picks for 1/27/18.

Alabama +1.5 -110 3u (win)

Vanderbilt +5 -125 2u (win)

Pistons +3.5 -110 3u (loss)

This month he is 14-3 on his free picks and currently +25.2 Units….Pretty damn impressive. Shoot this man a follow if you are interested in free money.

Campus Cover (@TheCampusCover)

Last but certainly not least is Student Union’s No. 1 Gambling Podcast, The Campus Cover. The dynamic, degenerate duo of Student Union Writers Cody Goggin and PJ Guippone give out daily free picks through both their podcast and twitter. If you haven’t been keeping up with them, the boys are having a hell of season so far with a record of 41-25 ATS coming into this weekend.

So if you didn’t know….Now you know folks. I hope you enjoyed this brief breakdown of some of my favorite handicappers on twitter! If you have any suggestions for other cappers I should be monitoring, comment or tweet me @LiamSmith0 .
