Anddddddd once again, another player is suspended for taking a bribe. This CBB investigation is almost Sherlock Holmes-like and it’s just one big ol’ shitshow to see who will go down next. (My money is on Duke and Grayson Allen.)
San Diego State’s star Senior Forward Malik Pope has been suspended by the university following a release of documents stating he accepted a $1,400 loan from a Pro Agent. The star 6’10 Senior’s name appears on a list of loans allegedly made by the Andy Miller agency. He is just one of the numerous names that have been released pertaining to bribes, loans, or any other type of payment in the recent college basketball scandal sweeping the nation.
SDSU has the Mountain West Tournament coming up and with a potential chance to make it to the Big Dance, this desperately hurts their chances. Pope was averaging 13 Points, 7 Rebounds, 3 Assist, and shooting just above 50% in the season. SDSU has 3 regular season games remaining and now without Pope in the line-up, the Aztecs may be in trouble.
San Diego State has suspended Malik Pope, per release. Pope was linked to FBI probe earlier today.

It’ safe to say this won’t be the last suspension we will see as the FBI has been heavily involved on this and it has been rumored that a number of big names will be taken down once the full investigation closes. Stay tuned to see your team’s rival player get suspended, arrested, or even banned.
