Bryson Dechambeau has taken over the PGA Tour since the tour resumed play earlier this summer. Dechambeau has always been known as being different compared to other golfers. He uses one-length clubs, wears a Hogan cap, and takes a scientific approach to the game that only he can truly understand.
Last fall after the FedEx Cup playoffs, Dechambeau swore he was going to put on 50 pounds and come back hitting the ball farther. That is exactly what he did. He’s built like a tank, eats like Joey Chestnut, and hits the ball so far and hard that he’s the talk of every tournament.
Me and Bryson
I’m a puny golfer myself. 5’10” 160 pounds soaking wet. I hit the ball like a small child and swing slower than an AARP member drives a car. Seeing Bryson do what he’s done got me excited. It has sent me on a journey to put on as much size as possible and build up as much swing speed as possible. Bryson has officially become my guy. I’ve gone from a casual Bryson fan to the President of #TeamBryson.
In recent days Bryson has recognized me. He’s like two Instagram comments on consecutive days and it’s safe to say I’m getting his attention. Bryson needs a man in the media.
The Barstool Sports Foreplay crew seemed to be his media crew until they went full homer on Brooks Koepka and ripped Bryson. Now that’s a regular thing for them. They hate that Bryson won’t talk to them anymore like they think they’re entitled to these kinds of guests. Ripping Bryson and everything he does is a common segment for them these days. Which isn’t a very “common man” way for them to act.
To the Moon
Bryson, I’m here to tell you that I’m the friend in the media that you’re looking for. I’m here to defend you in every situation. I’m here to release statements on your behalf. As the official president of #TeamBryson, I’m here to do whatever you need me to do. I won’t turn my back on you for some other big-name star, I am your go-to guy.
I’m well on my way to being in Bryson’s circle. We’re chipping away at this one IG like at a time, one gram of protein at a time, and one pound at a time. Shooter and Bryson Dechambeau are headed to the moon. You won’t want to miss this rocketship.
