Week 11 provided us with a much clearer picture of the college football landscape. Georgia finally lost, Notre Dame got dismantled, Ohio State and Oklahoma both won in blowouts, and Alabama narrowly escaped Mississippi State. While we now have a better idea of what teams are good, this throws the rankings way out of wack.
Alabama remained at the number one spot for us this week, garnering 6 of the 7 first-place votes. Miami took a leap from #7 to #2, while Oklahoma jumped from #5 to #3, causing Clemson to actually fall a spot despite picking up a win against Florida State. Auburn jumped four spots to #6 after defeating Georgia, who fell from #2 to #9, the second biggest fall of the week. Notre Dame dropped eight spots to #12 and Washington dropped seven spots to #16 on the heels of their losses. I officially have no idea what will happen for the rest of this season.
