It is a Wednesday in November and that can only mean one thing: MACTION. Western Michigan looked horrible in the third quarter last night but 17 unanswered points helped them win and cover the three point spread. That win last night puts our record at 27-22 (+1.37u). We are now hitting at a 55.1% clip in our best bets this season. Here is my best bet for tonight’s MACTION slate of games.
Eastern Michigan vs Toledo (-19) (O/U 46.5) 7:30 PM EST
The Glass Bowl in Toledo Ohio is going to be rocking tonight with the Eastern Michigan Eagles coming in to take on the Toledo Rockets. The Eagles come in losing two straight games and offensively they have struggled in 2023. Eastern Michigan averages 280.8 total yards of offense and 18.6 points per game. This offense is led by running back Samson Evans who has 425 rushing yards on 4.2 yards per carry and 8 rushing touchdowns on the season. This offense has struggled, but their defense has been good for them. Eastern Michigan is top 50 in the country in passing yards allowed per game. If the Eagles have a chance against Toledo, they will need their passing defense to be in tip-top form.
The Rockets are great offensively in 2023. They are 12th in the country in rushing yards per game (226.6) and average 34.4 points per game as well. This Toledo offense is run by the two-headed monster of RB Peny Boone who has rushed for 990 rushing yards on 7.3 yards per carry and 9 touchdowns, and QB Dequan Finn. Finn has 489 rushing yards to go along with 5 touchdowns. He also has 1,598 passing yards and a 15 to 6 touchdown to interception ratio. Toledo’s offense also is good on third down attempts, converting at a 46.7% clip. This offense is going to show up in a big way against this Eagles defense. Defensively, the Rockets are in the top 45 in passing yards allowed per game and give up less than 20 points per game on average. Toledo’s defense is going to show up tonight against a bad Eastern Michigan offense.

I think this total is too low and this should easily soar over this total. MACTION provides points and I see a ton of points being scored here.
