Okay everyone, keep calm please because one of the best sports is FINALLY back! Yes, that’s right College Football, the beautiful sport that it is, got up and running this past weekend. The first games kicked off this past Saturday, and it was nonstop football action from there until Sunday night. We had blowouts like Stanford’s 62-7 win over Rice, and also some close games all the way down to the end like Virginia Tech’s 31-24 win over West Virginia. There were some dramatics in some games like UCLA’s come 34-point come from behind win over Texas A&M.
We also can’t forget about probably the two craziest upsets to start off a college football season ever. Howard was able to hold off UNLV 43-40 on the road for an win as 45 point underdogs. Also, Liberty’s first game as an FBS team was great as they upset Baylor 48-45. If we keep getting weekends like this the polls are going to shake up big time. If you go back and look at our previous rankings they moved more than a little. All these exciting games caused it and we aren’t complaining one bit!
