Purdue Hockey plays in the ACHA, and on December 21st they teased some new unis on their Twitter page.
Rebirth Sports is the maker of these FIRE jerseys and did the official unveiling of them today on Twitter. Since fans first caught a glimpse of these in December, they’ve been going crazy over them. The black ones are about what you’d expect out of a Purdue hockey jersey, but it’s such a clean look that catches the eye quick. The grey ones on the other hand are SEXY. The gold on grey reminds fans of an alternate uni that the basketball team wore a few years back. The way Purdue is scripted on the front is eye popping and also mimics designs from former basketball jerseys.
If Rebirth and Purdue Hockey don’t make these available for fans to buy, then they’re missing out on a large chunk of cash. I’m prepared to riot in the streets of West Lafayette if I can’t get my hands on one of these.
