The Hawkeyes went to Columbus and got trounced by Ohio State last night. It was a must-win for the Buckeyes to make a push to the Tournament, and they won by 20 against ranked Iowa. That was a huge win for Ohio State and I’m sure Iowa could just look themselves in the mirror and take their L accordingly. I mean it was a 20 point blowout! Not like the game came down to one big play that the refs blew a call on or something. They were just totally outmatched. Time to hit the film room and get ready for their next game right?

Now this is odd. That doesn’t sound like Fran McCaffery at all. Such a mild mannered coach would never lose his temper like that. Especially in a situation where the refs didn’t seem to be a real factor.

Hmm I don’t see any evidence to suggest Fran would lose his temper for no reason. I’m sure these referees must have done something egregious. I’m sure the Big Ten and the NCAA will just give Fran a slap on the wrist as a first-time offender when it comes to this sort of thing. Go Hawks!
