Can someone explain to me why I can’t go one god damn day without hearing something about that virgin Tim Tebow?  Dude hasn’t been out of the spotlight since the Mets signed him to a minor league contract. With all the hype he’s getting, this guy better be the next fucking Mickey Mantle. I haven’t gone a day without seeing Tim Tebow batting practice on my Twitter timeline and frankly I’m sick of it. If you haven’t heard by now (not surprised if you have) Tim Tebow is playing in his instructional league debut today. Not the necessarily the career milestone social media is making it out to be, but none the less it got everyones attention.  So, I’m sitting here trying to condense my immense feelings of hatred for this man into one neatly written blog and I shit you not…this pops up on my Twitter feed

According to TMZ, on the first pitch of his first at bat of his first Instructional League game, the Media Messiah went fucking yard.

So now everyone’s wondering if the former Quarterback turned Outfielder is maybe a little bit more then a Mets media stunt. I wouldn’t call myself the most religious man in the world, but I think this mother fucker might just be starting to make me believe. You can’t deny that Tim Tebow has performed some miracles in his professional career that we might just have to chalk up to divine intervention.  I mean some of his wins with Denver were truly “miraculous.” The fact that he was able to win professional football games without the ability to to accurately throw the ball over 6 yards is truly a sign that the powers beyond us are at work. Now it seems as if these same powers are going to be playing a role in Timmy Tebow’s attempt at making a name for himself in the world of professional baseball. I can’t help but be reminded of one of the best Disney films ever made….
