With only a few football games left in 2023, I think it is CRUCIAL to use your Saturday in the most efficient way possible. I decided to rank the 5 football games you MUST watch on your football Saturday.

1. Hamilton Tiger-Cats vs Montreal Alouettes

The winner of this game is going to be forced to play the CFL win record-tying, Toronto Argonauts. Despite the probability of victory next week, that doesn’t matter one bit about the quality of game this week. This game is going to be won on the line of scrimmage. Hamilton has allowed the 4th fewest sacks in the league and Montreal hasn’t gotten to the quarterback. They’ve sacked the quarterback the 3rd fewest times in the league.

2. Missouri Tigers vs Georgia Bulldogs

The first version of the College Football Playoff rankings came out this week. There were a few spots that seemed to shock the sport, but nonetheless, number 2 Georgia hosts the 12th ranked Tigers. With no Brock Bowers, Georgia’s offense is in the hands of Carson Beck and Ladd McConkey. Don’t overlook Brady Cook and Luther Burden, though.

3. Alabama Crimson Tide vs LSU Tigers

The SEC West is once again a jumble at the top. LSU is rocking 2 losses overall, but a 4-1 conference record. An LSU win would complete the toxic triangle of LSU-Bama-Ole Miss. While that would make for the most chaos, Nick Saban has Alabama lurking in the grass like a Tiger ready to pounce.

4. Calgary Stampeders vs BC Lions

All eyes may be on the East, but don’t sleep on the West Semi-Final. Vernon Adams led the league in passing yards this year, but Calgary beat BC just two weeks ago to clinch their spot in the playoffs. While BC mostly dominated the first two games in the season series, Calgary was able to use a tandem of running backs as the horses, pun intended, who led them to a victory. Can Calgary use the run game again to pull off the upset?

5. Oklahoma Sooners vs Oklahoma State Cowboys

Bedlam.
