Adam Thielen Under 68.5 Receiving Yards -115

This isn’t a bet out of spite for Thielen not being on the Vikings any more. I’m taking his receiving yards under because he’s matching up with Jaylon Johnson tonight. Johnson has been playing great football this season with 2 interceptions and 4 pass breakups, while Thielen is coming off a game where he went cold vs the Colts. He was targeted 6 times, made 5 catches, but only had 29 yards. I think Thielen could get around 50 yards, but won’t hit over 68.5.

Yannick Ngakoue Over 0.25 Sacks +150

I hit my two sack props on Monday so I’m going back to the well. Ngakoue only has 2 sacks this season, but has favorable matchups vs Carolina’s tackles. Ikem Ekwonu has allowed 5 sacks and has a PFF grade of 61.1% this season. Opposite of him is Taylor Moton who has allowed 1 sack, but has a PFF grade slightly higher than Ekwonu with a 62.0%. Bryce Young has been sacked 26 times this year with 14 coming in the last three games. We just need Ngakoue to combine with someone for a sack and we’ll be winners.

Hayden Hurst Over 2.5 Receptions +120

Seven tight ends have caught over 2.5 passes vs the Bears this season. They struggle to matchup with big bodied pass catchers and this will work in the favor of Hayden Hurst, who has three games over 2.5 receptions. While he doesn’t have a lot of games with over 2.5 catches, he’s targeted an average of 3.5 times per game. Bryce Young likes to put the ball in the area of Hurst, we just need him to come down with it.

Chuba Hubbard Over 41.5 Rushing Yards -115

Fun fact, in 2020 at the Walter Camp All-American banquet, I met Chuba Hubbard. Pretty cool. Now over three years later, I’m betting on his rushing over. On the season, he’s averaging exactly 41 yards per game and is getting an average of 10.7 carries a game. While Chicago does have a solid run defense, they’ve allowed six backs to go over 41.5 yards against them. This is probably my gut pick of the night as I’m feeling a big carry early on from Hubbard to set the tone for the game.

Cole Kmet Over 35.5 Receiving Yards -125

Hailing from the REAL Tight End U, Cole Kmet has six games over 35.5 receiving yards, four of which came in the past five weeks. He’s averaging 6.25 targets per game and 46.76 yards per game. Kmet’s big body and great hands will serve as a matchup nightmare for Carolina as he’ll be covered, most likely, by Deion Jones or Kamu Gruiger-Hill.
