Yearly Record: 2-3

Garrett Wilson Any Time TD +140

Coming on the scene last year was the very dynamic rookie, Garrett Wilson. Wilson scored only 4 touchdowns last season, but he also had Mike White and Zach Wilson getting him the ball. He now has one of the greatest of all-time in Aaron Rodgers getting him the ball. Wilson is the Jets’ clear-cut number one option and I don’t believe Buffalo has a corner that can cover him. He’s in for a big game tonight and an even bigger season with a seasoned quarterback at the helm of the Jets offense.

Damien Harris Over 24.5 Rushing Yards -115

Buffalo doesn’t have a very flashy running back room, but it’s one that’ll run through someone’s face. Harris is a physical back that gets yards after contact and even though he’s splitting carries with James Cook, this number being as low as it is makes me feel confident in the over. Last season with the Patriots, Harris averaged 42 yards a game. That was with him playing in just 11 games and splitting carries with Stevenson. A change of scenery in the Bills electric offense will lead to Harris nailing the over this evening.

Jordan Poyer Under 4.5 Tackles -130

If you know me, I’m not traditionally one to take the under, especially on a tackle bet, but I feel good about this one. While Jordan Poyer is a very good player, he’s not a safety who will come down in run support too often. In addition, the Jets have great weapons on the outside with Lazard and Wilson so the Bills corners will be in the mix more than their safeties. I don’t think we’ll see much action across the middle from the Jets defense which’ll lead to the Poyer under. Like I said, I don’t like doing this, but hammer the under.

Aaron Rodgers Over 3.5 Rushing Yards -115

I have a feeling that every time I do a prop blog, I’m going to pick a quarterback rushing over. Why. you may ask? Well, it’s because it hit in Week One. When it comes to a Bills game, I’d love to pick Josh Allen, but with this number being as low as it is, I feel obligated to take the Rodgers over. Last season, Rodgers tallied 34 carries for 94 yards over 17 games. If you do the math on that, that’s an average of 5.52 yards per game. It’s a well known fact that Rodgers isn’t a rushing quarterback, but when he needs to, he’ll evade the pocket and secure a few yards. Buffalo has a good pass rush off the edge that’ll push Rodgers up in the pocket and hopefully make him run.

Allen Lazard Over 36.5 Receiving Yards -115

Reuniting in the Big Apple with Aaron Rodgers is huge for Allen Lazard. He escapes the barren wasteland that is Green Bay and gets to continue to play with his long time quarterback. Last season, Lazard averaged 52.5 receiving yards a game. Even though Garrett Wilson is the Jets’ number one target, Rodgers will look where he’s comfortable. Rodgers is comfortable with Lazard because he’s familiar. He knows his abilities and will target him often. Something I touched on with Wilson was my lack of confidence in the Bills corners. I don’t foresee Lazard torching them, but he will get open and will get his yards.
