Background

We are going back to the ice tonight instead of Thursday Night Football. Some are saying I have the yips when it comes to betting on the NFL and those people would be absolutely correct. I tried not to think too much about a bet tonight and played a play that makes sense.

The Bet: Kraken ML (-125)

This one was simple for me. Decent team, at home, vs bad team. REALLY bad team. The Canucks have lost 5 games and lost another 2 in overtime making their record an abysmal 0-5-2. Seattle has been brutal on the power play defensively so far so that is a legitimate worry. The Kraken also played at home last night and might be a little tired, but the Canucks had yesterday off. That day off was a travel day though spent coming back from the east coast. Frankly, the Kraken give up almost a full goal per game less and score almost a full goal more per game and that’s ultimately what we are trusting. I hate the board tonight, but we march on.
