Jaquaze Sorrells is now a Gamecock. On National Signing Day, the Gamecocks boosted their recruiting class a bit more. After having an already good class, Muschamp and his crew were able to snag Jaquaze Sorrells. Sorrells is a four-star defensive tackle out of Winter Park, Florida.
The 6’3”, 298 pound Sorrells ripped up opposing offensive lines to the tune of 94 tackles and eight sacks over his last two years. The 15th ranked defensive tackle in the country, Sorrels adds to an already intimidating D-Line class coming to Columbia, joining Zacch Pickens (#1 SDE) and Joseph Anderson (#9 SDE). They may be building something there in South Carolina.
