The NFL Draft might not be until April but we have the first look at which 2020 draft prospects you should be watching this college football season.

Justin Herbert

This Oregon stud, a projected first-round pick last year, decided to return to school for his senior year. He put up great numbers last year boasting over 3000 yards passing and 29 touchdowns. With Gardner Minshew being drafted, look out for Herbert to be the star of the Pac-12 and the Oregon offense.

Johnathan Taylor

This Wisconsin running back is without a doubt the best in the country. Last year he finished with almost 2200 rushing yards which led the NCAA, to go along with 17 touchdowns. With former QB Hornibrook transferring to Florida State look for Taylor to get even more touches next year. With Wisconsin’s top 5 O-Line, he will lead the NCAA in rushing again, and maybe even win the Heisman Trophy.

Jerry Jeudy

The Best Wide Receiver in college football with his unbelievable pass-catching ability. Last season he finished with 1315 yards to go along with 14 touchdowns, which was best in the SEC. In addition to these numbers, he also won the Fred Biletnikoff Award for the nations best receiver. With both Tua and Jeudy returning to school, get ready to see Jerry Jeudy have one of his best seasons, and maybe one of the best ever by a wide receiver.

Ceedee Lamb

This Oklahoma WR is a very solid player, but was overshadowed by Marquise Brown last year. This year will be his year to shine being new QB Jalen Hurts’s #1 target. Look for him to have a breakout year, and put up over 1400 yards. Although he isn’t very high on many draft boards he has the most room to grow out of most WR in the country.

Albert Okwuegbunam

This Missouri TE was one of the best tight ends in the country his freshman year, finishing with the most receiving touchdowns in the SEC. But injuries hampered his sophomore season as he couldn’t be a major part of the offense. This year look out for him in a strong offense led by Clemson transfer Kelly Bryant, he will be Bryant’s main target and could be the first TE off the board next April.

Chase Young

One of the most dominant pass rushers in college football, Chase Young is yet another great Ohio State defensive linemen. He finished 2nd in sacks in the Big Ten last year and is looking to grow his potential next year. Look for him to be the most dominant defensive linemen next season, as well as a top 5 pick.

Kenny Willekes

The Big Ten’s tackle for loss leader is back for his senior year and is ready to cause havoc. He’s coming off of a campaign that saw him win 2018 Big Ten defensive linemen of the year. Get ready to see a big year from Willekes, to cap off his college career and show the NFL scouts that he’s the real deal.

Raekwon Davis

This Alabama D-linemen is bound to be the next memorable player to come off of an Alabama front 7. His numbers aren’t great, but he’s poised to have a big year this year dominating SEC offensive lines. Get ready to see Raekwon grow as a player and a prospect this season.

Grant Delpit

Grant is yet another fantastic LSU defensive back, he was an All American last year and led the Sec in interceptions last year. With LSU now becoming DBU all the focus will be on Delpit to see if he can live up to the hype. Next year will be a big one for LSU and Delpit, as he tries to cap his career at LSU well, and impress the scouts along the way.

Kristian Fulton

As it says on the LSU website, “Inline to be the next great cornerback for the Tigers.” Fulton is a fantastic cornerback with amazing ball skills, only allowing 6 first downs or touchdowns last season. He finished the season with an injury but is healthy and ready to show his full potential this year. Look out for him to remain as one of the premier cornerbacks in college football this season.
