Iowa: An awesome undefeated regular season record all came crashing to the ground when Iowa lost the Big Ten Championship and then got massacred in the Rose Bowl.

 

Michigan: Finishing 10-3 in Jim Harbaugh’s first season was considered a huge success to most fans after the Wolverines finished just 5-7 just a year ago.

 

Michigan State: Week after week MSU pulled off crazy, and at times lucky, wins on their way to the College Football Playoff leaving fans with their jaws on the floor; eventually that luck ran out against Alabama.

 

Purdue: The only team in the Big Ten to have double digit losses, a failure of a season in all aspects.

 

Maryland: After starting the season 2-1, the Terrapins went on to lose 8 straight; at this point fans are just waiting for the DJ Durkin era to begin.

 

Indiana: An “almost was” season in many ways; Indiana lost 7 games, 5 of which by only one score. If only they could’ve finished.

 

Wisconsin: A 10-3 finish with their only three losses being Alabama, Iowa, and Northwestern; Not enough for a Big Ten championship, but a pretty decent year.

 

Penn State: A really underwhelming season; beat the easier teams on their schedule, but lost the majority of their “tough” match-ups.

 

Northwestern: Actually a lot of good this season considering they went 10-3 this season, but when looking deeper, in those three losses they lost by a combined 115-16.

 

Ohio State: One bad loss against Michigan State cost them a chance to play for a Big Ten Championship and left them watching the CFP pretty pissed off they weren’t there.

 

Rutgers: After finishing 8-5 in 2014, Rutgers really struggled in 2015 to get things going, giving up an average of 34.9 points per game and finishing 4-8 overall.

 

Nebraska: A really average season for the Cornhuskers finishing 6-7, although they did upset Big Ten Champion MSU, and won the Foster Farms Bowl over a pretty good UCLA team.

 

Illinois: The fighting Illini had a really tough year and ended up finishing their season by losing six of their last seven games.

 

Minnesota: With close losses to Michigan, Iowa, and TCU, Minnesota put together a 5-6 season that could have been so much better; the Golden Gophers finished on a good note beating CMU in the Quick Lane Bowl.
