Balls to the Wall Call

#4 Michigan @( +24.5)Michigan St: Throw all the records and stats in the garbage during rivalry games. Cause of that logical fallacy Michigan St is a good pick here. A win against Michigan is the only thing that can save this miserable season for Spartan fans. Michigan is arguably the best team in the country. They arguably have three top 20 picks in their secondary alone.

#4 Washington @ (+11)   #17 Utah: Washington has been one of the best stories of the season, and it seems everyone is hopping on their bandwagon. Chris Petersen’s Huskies have looked very impressive thus far, but they have done against a very weak schedule. However, facing the Utes in Rice-Eccles Stadium will be Washington’s toughest by far. Rice-Eccles stadium is a rowdy environment and will be further fueled by the energy of having ESPN’s “College GameDay” program on campus. Senior RB Joel Williams coming out of retirement to play for the Utes has been on of the best stories in college football. WIlliams has added a whole new dynamic to the Utah offense. Williams has had breakout performances rushing for 179 yards against the Beavers and a school-record 332 vs. a very good UCLA front seven. Another interesting storyline, Utah starting quarterback Troy Williams started his career at Washington. Williams will try come out to try and crush his former teammates dreams of qualifying for the college football playoff by beating the Huskies on Saturday. Look for the Huskies offense to struggle in hostile atmosphere, and running back Joel Williams will provide enough offense for Utah to pull off the upset.

Boise St @ Wyoming (+14):

The Cowboys are hoping to clinch this their first bowl berth since 2011, and they would love to do in style against the Broncos. This is a battle between two future NFL running backs in Jeremy McNichols. In just seven games Hill has already rushed for 1010 yards and 11 touchdowns. Wyoming is coming into this game on a streaky 3 game winning streak. Boise St record has not been blemished all year, but the Broncos have lived on the edge after nearly blowing two double digit leads in consecutive weeks. Wyoming has the talent to hang around, and Boise St doesn’t make the necessary plays in the 4th.  The Broncos bite the dust this week.

Cincinnati (+7) @ Temple:  We are gonna continue to ride the Gunner Kiel train this week. In his first start of the year,  Kiel threw for 356 yards and 4 touchdowns. Temple currently sits atop of the AAC East rankings. Tommy Tuberville teams is playing with a sense of urgency so expect  Bearcats and Kiel to continue the momentum by getting a huge road against Temple.
