Yearly Record: 15-19

Austin Ekeler Any Time TD -150

Ekeler is one of the biggest offensive threats in the league and with Keenan Allen being banged up, yet still playing, Herbert is going to look to get the ball in his hands. On the season he has five touchdowns: two receiving and three rushing. He has 92 touches on the season through the air and on the ground so there is no lack of him having the ball in his hands.

Justin Herbert Over 1.5 Passing Touchdowns -165

Part of the reason I’m taking this bet is due to the fact that I have Herbert in the Student Union fantasy football league and need him to play great in order for me to win. The other reason is because I feel ridiculously confident in this bet. Through five games, he has 10 passing touchdowns. You don’t need to be a mathematician to figure out that that’s two per game. In addition, he has three games over 1.5 passing touchdowns. Denver’s defense has been good against the pass, but they haven’t played a player as talented as Herbert.

Russel Wilson Over 13.5 Rushing Yards -115

In the past three games, Russell Wilson has rushed for over 13.5 yards and is averaging 14.6 rushing yards per game on the season. The Chargers are also coming off a week where they allowed 32 rushing yards on 3 carries from Jacoby Brissett. Denver’s pass game has been lackluster and Los Angeles has a great pass rush which will lead Wilson to utilize his legs.

Patrick Surtain Over 3.5 Tackles -165

Pat Surtain is turning into one of the leagues best cornerbacks, yet teams still look his way. So far this season, the lockdown corner has three games over 3.5 tackles. In the last two games, he’s tallied 15 tackles. He’s on quite the role and with how much Los Angeles throws the ball, I believe the over will hit.
