Over the weekend, Justin Fields created a petition to relaunch the Big 10 season that was pushed to the spring.

The petition, at this moment, has over 200,000 signatures. About 200 come from me. This has picked up so much steam that Fields appeared on ESPN to talk about this cause.

But the question remains. Can Fields accomplish the impossible task of getting an online petition to change anything?

Listen, I am hurt that we are losing a season of Ohio State football. But this isn’t going to change anything. We have likely seen the last of Fields, Chris Olave, Shaun Wade, and Wyatt Davis in the scarlet and gray.

The Big 10 no doubt rushed this decision and probably should have pushed the season back a month before making any decisions like this. I see both sides of the play or don’t play, but I am in complete disagreement with how the Big 10 handled this.

Time will tell if the Big-10 makes any miracle change, but as of now, we are on to the SEC.
