After a weekend that saw LSU lose to Troy at home, USC lose on the road to Washington State,  and Clemson continue its tear through their gruesome (or so we thought) schedule, hopefully the games can continue to be as entertaining as they have been so far this season.

Upset of the Week:

#9 Wisconsin at Nebraska

Now lets set the record straight, I don’t think that Wisconsin loses this game, BUT any trip to Lincoln can bring up challenges (except if you’re Northern Illinois). I’m not gonna say that Tanner Lee is going to go off and set school records and have a career night, because Wisconsin’s defense is just too good for that. The only way Nebraska gets this upset is if they can use the home field advantage to their liking.

Toss up of the Week:

#11 Washington St. at Oregon

I really wanted to use this game as my upset pick, but Luke Falk is too damn good. My concern for the Cougars is that they have a upset hangover. After beating USC at home last week, they go to a tough Autzen stadium. Though it may not be the Oregon of past years, anytime you have to travel to Eugene, you’re going to have your hands full.

Game of the Week:

#23 West Virginia at #8 TCU

This is only one of two games this week that pits two teams ranked in the top 25 together. I look for this to be an old fashioned Big 12 shootout where both teams forget about defense and the first team to 50 wins. After having last week off, the Horned Frogs should be fresh and focused for this battle in Fort Worth.
