College Football is back!!! Once again I rounded up a bunch of brave volunteers to weigh in with their CFP predictions. Let us see what our smart writers think…

CFP Predictions Conclusion:

So to put numbers on these predictions, all 19 people who predicted the CFP has Clemson making it. Then having Alabama in a close second with 18 out of 19 people having them in the playoffs–Patrick aka Patty Takes is really going on a limb there.

As for the rest of the predictions, Georgia makes it in 8 out of 19, Oklahoma makes it in 7 out of 19 . Ohio State, Michigan, and Texas make 6 out of 19 playoff predictions. Then to round it out, three people have Oregon, two people have Utah, and one single person has Wisconsin–which was me…

As for the championship…

17 out of 19 SU writers have Clemson making the championship–again me being one outlier while Harrison is the other–and 12 out of 19 having Clemson winning it all. Then 12 out of 19 have Alabama making the championship, with 6 out of 19 winning it all. And in total 10 out of 19 have another Clemson-Alabama title game. Only one person has a champion that isn’t named Clemson or Alabama–I think you know who that is–and has smartly picked Oklahoma to win it all.

I will say the same thing I did last year…this will be fun to revisit in early January.
