Well ladies and gentlemen, we are only a week away from the beginning of the best season of them all (in my opinion, but it is factual.) I am so excited for the College Basketball season to begin that I am willing to take the heat of posting my Preseason Top 25… Do your worst internet.

Without further ado here is my Top 25:
- Gonzaga
- Villanova
- Purdue
- UCLA
- Kansas
- Michigan
- Texas
- Baylor
- Duke
- Arkansas
- Ohio State
- Alabama
- OK State
- Virginia
- Illinois
- Memphis
- Kentucky
- Texas Tech
- Houston
- UNC
- Oregon
- Tennessee
- Florida State
- St. Bonaventure
- Indiana
It’s no shock that Gonzaga is number 1 in my preseason top 25, and it will be no shock that they will likely stay in that spot throughout much of, if not all of the season. The Zags or Jay Wright’s Villanova Wildcats should be the top two teams in the country this year with a few other teams lurking in the background, UCLA, Purdue, and Kansas to name a few.
One sleeper team to keep an eye on this year is Penny Hardaway’s Memphis Tigers. Bringing in Emoni Bates, Landers Nolley II, and Jalen Duren, the Tigers have set themselves up to be a very successful team this season. Look for them to be at the top of the AAC.
We are looking at possibly one of the most balanced college basketball season’s we have had in quite sometime, and I for one am ecstatic to get this season underway. I hope you are as excited about this season starting as I am, the countdown to the College Basketball season has officially started and sooner than later we will see some of the most entertaining events in the sporting community.
