Yearly Record: 12-13

Heading into last Thursday, I was down on my luck. I had a yearly record of 6-11 and then I got hot. Between my props last Thursday and Monday night I went 6-2 to boost my yearly prop record to 12-13. Now, I’m starting to feel very good and I’m looking to get my record over .500.

Jaylen Waddle Anytime TD +135

Waddle has been having an absolute year so far and it won’t stop if Mike Hilton, Eli Apple, or Chidobe Awuzie are guarding him. He’s got 3 touchdowns on the season to go with 342 yards. What works to Waddle’s advantage is the amount of weapons on the Dolphin’s offense. This takes away the opportunity for teams to double him. Mike Gesicki and Tyreek Hill pose big enough threats that the Bengals’ defense will have to account for them.

Joe Burrow Over 1.5 Passing TDs -170

6 touchdowns on the season, coupled with the fact that Miami’s defense is allowing an average of 308.8 yards per game and 2.7 passing touchdowns a game, I feel good about this bet. Burrow has a true cavalcade of weapons to look to. Whether it’s Mixon out of the backfield or Chase and Higgins downfield, they will cause trouble. In addition, if the Bengals are going to score, it’ll be through the air. Thus far, all of their touchdowns come from the pass game as they haven’t tallied a single rushing touchdown yet this year.

Trey Hendrickson Over 0.25 Sacks -160

Hendrickson is coming off a 2.5 sack game and will be facing Greg Little who has a PFF grade of 38.0. All though he got off to a slow start, Hendrickson is starting to kick his play into overdrive. What works in the favor of Hendrickson is that the Dolphins throw the ball an average of 34.3 times a game and only run the ball 19.6 times per game.

Hayden Hurst Over 2.5 Catches -170

With a lot of eyes being turned to the Bengals wideouts, I think Hayden Hurst could receive some favorable matchups. He could find himself being guarded by Brandon Joseph or Jerome Baker which will open him up in the pass game. In addition, the Bengals don’t really have any other tight end on the roster to take away reps from Hurst. On the season, he’s averaging 3.6 catches per game.

Tee Higgins Any Time TD +135

It’d be easy to bet Chase or Mixon anytime touchdown, but I like the idea of Higgins hitting pay dirt tonight. He’s only got 1 touchdown on the season and with more attention turning to Boyd, Higgins feels due. The same reason I like Burrow over 1.5 passing TDs is why I also like Higgins anytime TD. The Dolphins secondary isn’t overly impressive. They’ve played decent games, but give up too many yards and an average of 2.7 passing touchdowns a game.
