Former Ohio State and current Miami quarterback Tate Martell will be eligible to play for the Hurricanes this season.

The transferring star was able to receive a hardship waiver from the NCAA in order to avoid sitting out a year. He appears to have gotten the waiver with the help of Ohio State and also possibly because of their coaching change.
